Diabetes, Hypertension & Kidney Disease can be scary
Figuring out how to slow down its progression with good nutrition doesn’t have to be.

Recently diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease?
You were probably recently told you have Chronic Kidney Disease and after Googling it, are now terrified you’ll soon be on dialysis unable to eat anything ever again.
It was probably a big surprise because you don’t have any noticeable symptoms, your doctor may not have been very helpful, and after asking around and searching for how to slow it down, you’re more confused and scared than ever.
We can help.
We walk patients with a diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease, stages 2-4 through how to care for your kidneys through personalized nutrition, so your quality of life isn’t impacted and dialysis isn’t looming over you.

… or diagnosed with diabetes or hypertension?

Or maybe you are already dealing with a diagnosis like diabetes or hypertension and the weight of that diagnosis and the choices.
We help patients with both diabetes and hypertension to manage these through dietary changes because you’re high-risk for developing kidney disease in your life now.
We can help.
We help our patients do more than tolerate their new diet — we help you love what you eat so you’re not only happier, but healthier.

Labwork
While there are many tests you can take, when it comes to checking on your kidney’s ability to do it’s job, we highly recommend you take these three tests:
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel — This will test and evaluate your liver and kidney function at this time.
Glucose Levels — This will determine your fasting glucose, fasting insulin and hemoglobin A1c and see whether you are non-diabetic, pre-diabetic or diabetic.
Advanced Lipid Panel — This test will analyze your cholesterol levels and determine how healthy your blood vessels are.
Because your body is constantly changing (and because you can only act on what you know), we recommend these 3 tests through YourLabwork.com every 3 months.
